Learn to forgive in advance, cos the question is not whether they will offend you, it's when.

Offence is inevitable! Know this and know peace. As long as you relate with humans, someone must offend you. The truth is, no matter how hard you try to stay on your lane, one person must yield themselves as a vessel to offend you.

If you have that mindset, you won't find it difficult to forgive. Remember how many times Jesus said we should forgive in Mathew 18.

Sometimes when you refuse to forgive, you are actually punishing yourself because the offender might be busy living their best life while you are holding grudges. When you forgive, you feel lighter and better.

Yes, some people might take advantage of your forgiving nature and that is why you should apply wisdom, you can forgive but do not forget the lessons learned from that experience.

There's something I have been noticing on Facebook comment section. Somebody will make a post and instead of people to comment in response to the topic posted, you will see things like count me in, try my speed, I remember when I went to a crusade and someone told me I will walk, or my neighbour was dancing to generator etc.

Is it that the people don't read or they don't understand? What is the colour of their problem? 🤔

Normally I don't like going to the market but as a business owner there are always lessons to learn from the market.

The last time I was at the market, I was buying something from my customer, I asked for salt and a spice she didn't have, instead of saying I don't have, she just called out to her neighbour, bring salt and that pepper soup spice. She quickly brought it and I paid.

Now, I could have gone somewhere else to buy it if she didn't ask the neighbour but she has made a sale because her neighbour knows she sells it and because they are in good terms. If her neighbour's customer also wants something she has, she won't hesitate to recommend her right?

I remember another instance where I wanted to buy a fabric and the seller said, is it for asoebi? What of the gele you people will tie, my sister sells oh and she will give you a fair price, and before you know it we were at the sister's shop.
Hope you know they might not actually be sisters but that is immaterial, the sister has also made a sale. That is the power of collaboration.

If you want to make more sales as a business owner, you need to collaborate with other business owners. Join business groups, make friends, let people around you know what you do.
Don't say they won't buy, yes they may not buy but they might know someone who will buy.

Another way to collaborate especially if you sell online is by making bundle sales. For instance, you sell shoes, you can collaborate with a bag seller, take pictures of the shoes and bags together and market it together.

As a baker, caterer, photographer or videographer why are you not collaborating with the event planners in your neighbourhood. Biko take microphone 🎤 and tell me why?

You are selling paint and you are not friends with the guy that sells roofing sheets near you, Maka why? You don't like too much money?

You are a make up artist and the photographer near your house doesn't know, my dear stop sleeping on a bicycle.

Aside market people, celebrities do collaborations a lot, did you see how Nasboi promoted his recent song? Collaboration. Even Don Jazzy collaborated with others when he started his burger business.
