“Big cities like Tokyo and Osaka have a lot to offer visitors. But we wanted to show viewers a different side of Japan by introducing them to life in small cities, towns and villages.” (Ms Junko Abe, Director of Global Business Department, Media Business-TBS)
“Vietnamese viewers should find this television program very interesting because it shines a spotlight on Japan’s agriculture, forestry and fishery industries, the mainstays of the Japanese diet.” (Mr Daisuke Okabe, Minister, Embassy of Japan in Vietnam).
Since 2015, TBS and VTV have co-produced the TV program, which introduces Vietnamese viewers to life in various parts of Japan. This fourth and latest season focuses on life in rural Japan through “countryside stays” at traditional Japanese B&Bs known as “minshuku.” Vietnam’s national broadcaster will begin airing the show on one of its main TV channels starting November 23, 2018.
The program is hosted by VTV presenter Le Bao An and Vietnamese actress Le Chi. Together, the pair introduce viewers to the charms of rural life as they travel to five Japanese prefectures—Kanagawa, Nagasaki, Mie, Wakayama and Oita—staying in a series of farming and fishing villages along the way.
This TBS-VTV co-production is supported by the Broadcast Program Export Association of Japan in the expectation that it will stimulate Vietnamese tourist arrivals to Japan.

ＴＢＳテレビとベトナム国営ＶＴＶテレビは、日本各地の魅力をベトナムに向けて紹介する番組を２０１５年から共同制作しています。第４弾となる今年は、農村や漁村の民宿に泊まる「農泊」をテーマにし、今月２３日からベトナム国営放送の総合チャンネルで放送を始めます。
番組ではＶＴＶのレポーター、バオ・アンさんと女優でタレントのレー・チーさんが全国５つの県（神奈川・長崎・三重・和歌山・大分）で農村・漁村に泊まりながら、日本の見どころを紹介します。
ＴＢＳテレビとＶＴＶの共同制作番組は、一般社団法人「放送コンテンツ海外展開促進機構」の協力を得て実施されるもので、放送を通じて、日本へのベトナム人観光客の増加が期待され

The entrance to the exhibition hall was festooned with a large eye-grabbing poster promoting “The World Unknown to Matsuko.” Inside, the TBS booth showcased many of the network’s latest hit productions, including the drama “Downtown Rocket,” the film “Stolen Identity”, and the anime “Revue Starlight,” not to mention a host of internationally proven formats such as “SASUKE,” plus the network’s popular range of variety TV programming. This year there was even a “Rush4Win” Counter where visitors could try their hand at playing the classic Japanese TV game show. This fun, experiential display was a hands-on way of familiarizing visitors with TBS’s diverse range of exciting, high-quality content.
会場の入口には『マツコの知らない世界』の巨大バナーを設置し、目を引くようにしました。最新ドラマ『下町ロケット』などを始め、映画『スマホを落としただけなのに』やアニメ『少女歌劇レビュースターライト』などの最新作を主軸に、『SASUKE』などのフォーマットやバラエティなど TBSのコンテンツをご紹介するのは勿論、今回はRush4Win（『オールスター感謝祭』の海外販売名）が体験できるカウンターも配置して、 “体感”していただくことにより、より深くTBSのコンテンツを理解してもらえるようにしました。
