I thought, when I start working in my dream career, I'd be the most sorted person in my circle. I'd be making these big leaps, I'll realize my full potential. And I won't lie, for some time, it felt quite rewarding too. But then came a point where I felt like my growth had become stagnant. I felt like everyone else was doing so much more than me, and I was capable of doing that too, but something was stopping me from really feeling accomplished.
So when I thought about it, I realized two things were stopping me, 1. Fear and 2. Comparison.
Fear of not making it through. Fear of failing. Fear of not being successful no matter how hard I try. All these fears would stop me from even trying. And then came in comparison. Which would always keep me in a loop of either, "I am doing more than everyone else." or "I am falling so much behind.". A lot of self- doubt has started creeping in. And there I sat, waiting for a breakthrough.
