Holy remixology, Batman!
Sometimes, vocal tracks just cut that bit deeper and here at Selador HQ, we’ve had a bit of a run of vocal delights of late – In fact, it’s fair to say they’ve made quite the splash.
‘Hold On’, if you’ll allow us to recap for just a sec, saw Dave resurrecting a personal favourite from 1991 that he’d been longing to bring to a new / wider audience.
The jury’s verdict was both quick and unanimous. ‘Absolutely amazing!’, said Yulia Niko…’monster!’ reasoned Just Her…’Dope!’, surmised Sam Divine…for Danny Howells, it was ‘killer work’ and Anthony Pappa declared it a ‘Big Tune’. In the proverbial nutshell, Five Star Reviews were order of the day.
A vocal as powerful as Shola provides here does, of course, lend itself to remixes, and so we return with a couple of belters for your delectation and delight – both pure peak time business.
AIKON’s revision is hypnotic from the off, cruising along at a rate of knots, whilst Shola rides the riff like a seasoned pro and the central sonic motif gnaws into yer cerebrum.
Denney’s re-rub meanwhile twists, turns and teases. The foot only briefly easing off the gas to allow Shola to take centre stage with gusto, before building back up to a glorious crescendo.
Things ARE gonna change, nothing stays the same, hold on, let’s make a change!

We hand control of our aux lead to the Selador label head in anticipation for his date at Akasha.
Making her Selador Sessions debut, LA based Tara Brooks has been on our musical radar for many years, with her releases on Bedrock, get Physical , Kattermuke, Global Underground, Akbal and more.
Her recent track. 'Reactivity' was just released on our Selador imprint, and so we are delighted to also have her feature here for us on the Selador Sessions!
As well as that, she will be a fully fledged member of the family soon, as she makes her Seladoria debut for us 22nd September in Glasgow too for Skyline Events.

We often get asked about our logo and its Donnie Darko connotations. So we thought we should set the record straight…
Please meet our enigmatic Rabbit King, Harvey.
It is entirely possible that he has Donnie Darko heritage running through him as allegedly, he is the lovechild of Donnie Darko’s Frank & Jessica Rabbit, conceived during a wild weekend at Twilo in the late ‘90s 💊🙌🪩❤️
However, as a DNA test has never been conducted, we can neither officially confirm nor deny this and therefore is merely just conjecture and rumour, but we have our own theory 🤔😅
Anyway, Harvey will be leading us all a merry dance at several Selador parties over the next few months so come join us on the dancefloor and ask him yourself 😜

We often get asked about our logo and its Donnie Darko connotations. So we thought we should set the record straight… Please meet our enigmatic Rabbit King, Harvey.
