DAFM Spotlight Show of the Week – Tranceform Sessions

Oliver Cattley is a self-taught DJ, producer & label owner from Leeds in the UK who began mixing in 1999 at the age of 15 on belt drive turntables! He continued to develop his passion for music and has released tracks on Armada, Vandit, Extrema, Defcon, Redux, Mindlifting, Tranceform, Blackout, Fireball & more as well as holding residencies at Elysium Trance Event, Resonate, Techno Breakfast Club, In:Progress and EMFA in the USA.

Oliver's style as a producer has evolved over the last 25 years, he has a passion for all things electronic dance music and is not restricted to one particular genre. He has collaborated with many major names including Steve Morley, Kiyoi & Eky, Leigh Green, Amos & Riot Night and Fredd Moz.

Oliver launched his brand Tranceform in 2015 and has attracted major support ever since, seeing every one of his releases chart on Beatport.

DAFM Spotlight Show of the Week
Uplifting Trance Sessions with DJ Phalanx

The first episode of Uplifting Trance Sessions aired in 2011, featuring top-notch trance, vocal trance and tech trance tracks. It soon became a must-hear weekly show and was followed by the launch of State Control Records in 2015 releasing music from established and up-and-coming producers in the Trance genre.

Over the past nine years, the label has released music from some of the world’s most renowned Trance artists, including Steve Dekay, Peetu S, Roman Messer and many more.

Gaining support from Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Sean Tyas, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten, State Control Records has also organized events with guests like Metta & Glyde, Manuel le Saux, Steve Dekay and Peetu S.

Since its inception, the radio show Uplifting Trance Sessions has received over 14 million You Tube views as well as attracting listeners via Apple Music, Amazon Music, TuneIn Radio and many other outlets.

Having produced over 700 episodes the radio show is still attracting more attention with its weekly update of the latest in trance along with exclusive premieres of State Control Records releases in the mix hosted by DJ Phalanx.

DAFM Spotlight Show of the Week - CYB3RPVNK Radio by R3HAB

R3HAB is a Dutch-Moroccan DJ and remixer from Brabant in the Netherlands. He began his career in 2007 signing with Afrojack’s label Wall Recordings and rapidly became a name to watch.

His production skills and love for electronic music have made him a highly respected remixer for artists like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Calvin Harris, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg and Bob Sinclar to name a few.

R3HAB launched his own label CYB3RPVNK in 2016, collecting over 4 billion streams across platforms since its inception. With R3HAB’s successful catalogue of releases, the label supports a multitude of genres and artists, putting creativity and the exploration of sound at the forefront of its agenda.

Over the years, R3HAB has played at the most famous clubs around the world, in the USA, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Morocco, France, Australia, England and the Caribbean. Glasgow Underground Radio with Kevin McKay

Kevin McKay started his journey into production DJing in Glasgow in the 90s, he soon picked up a residency at “The Tunnel” and met Andy Carrick. They put together a 4 track EP and Kevin decided to apply to the Prince’s Trust for funding to self-release and his first label, Muzique Tropique launched in December 1994.

Demand was growing from distributors for more material than McKay & Carrick could produce so Kevin set up Glasgow Underground in 1997 to release music from themselves and fellow Glaswegians

Since then the label has gone from strength to strength and released established & rising stars.

Kevin McKay now has a discography that spans the last 30 years, he has produced everything from world-renowned dance tracks to cult underground productions.

Every week, Glasgow Underground Radio brings you the very best in House music presented by Kevin McKay and featuring a wide range of house music from Deep through Disco to Minimal and Tech.
