..that the numbers had a direct correlation to my performance as a marketing assistant.

So, I steered myself clear of that task.

Because I did not want to get fired for 'underperforming.'

This is quite clearly connected with coming from a cooperate background. Numbers...reports...performance meetings...firing..

BUT - I secretly checked my clients' data (without reporting it!)

It was fascinating!

The more I detached my work from my clients' numbers, the more I enjoyed creating these reports.

Via a spreadsheet and a Loom walkthrough.

And charged for it, of course.

It's been liberating ever since.

Analytics are guides.

The best part is that without "the fear of judgement", it is a wholesome experience for both my client and I.

We get to change things with more reason, than intuition.

Sometimes there's nothing to be changed, really.

Where do you prefer to host your community?

I just realized I've been in a Circle community for almost three years now -and it's pretty active.

When deciding whether to host their community on Facebook or not, certain standards apply to any community.

1. Presence, Presence, Presence,

We forget that the MAIN PROBLEM we are solving is not whether people prefer to do this on or off Facebook.

But the ACTUAL NEED that you are solving for your audience.

Your audience will follow you anywhere as long as you remain their TRUSTED PROBLEM SOLVER.

Your presence (time and attitude) to be available in the community, handle inquiries, and offer personalized guidance is being watched by the active and inactive members.

2. Continous Learning

Have you found people asking a 'question they can Google' in your community?

That's the UNDENIABLE POWER OF YOUR AUTHORITY.

At all stages of learning, others are watching and trusting this to be a safe space.

I said to my client.

Let's just NOT schedule your YouTube videos and create Thumbnails in Canva.

You need a YouTube Manager so we pay close attention to the numbers and video performance.

Client said, don't know what you are on about but I'm interested. Sign me up.

We uploaded a video in the first week of March.

๐Ÿ”ฅVideo got 400+ views in a week.

I created 2 YouTube shorts from that video.

๐ŸคฏShorts got 700+ views (combined) in two days!

There was no way to learn this.

We are now learning this because somebody cared enough to pay more attention.

As an extra step, I added the client's upcoming webinar details at the end of the YouTube shorts.

Yes, that increased webinar sign-ups.
