Motivated Scott 🧠 Helping 211k+ People Master Their Mindset Hey, my name is Scott. I walked away from $1.7 million in equity to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams. Bold or stupid?
(33)

Yet to be determined. But I’m honestly happy with how things have turned out so far. I get to commit to my vision and personal growth every day and spend time with my family. I chalk that up to a win. Plus, I've managed to halt my hairline's great migration north, which is a nice bonus. With a thicker head of hair, I've upgraded from regular dad to super dad, become an even better husband, and I'm

now the go-to guy for mind hacks. I teach the art of life through philosophy, psychology, lifestyle hacks, entrepreneurship, and dodging existential dread with a side of no fluff, no BS, no filter, just a swift kick in the mind and now they call me the 'Mindset Engineer’.

We all tell ourselves the same story: we use our phones to stay connected or pass the time. But what if these apps are doing more harm than good? In this episode, I unpack the addictive design behind social media and how it capitalizes on your attention. More importantly, I dive into the philosophy of digital minimalism—a powerful approach to reclaiming your focus, reducing distractions, and living with intention.

It’s hard to succeed if you’re playing the victim.

For over a decade, my life was a whirlwind of adventure: 12 weeks a year spent on the road, exploring obscure places like Eureka, CA, or tackling Puerto Rico’s twisty roads in a crappy rental while giving my wife heart palpitations. I was a travel pro—sampling new foods, meeting interesting people, and testing the limits of my patience with airlines (seriously, why is boarding still a mess?). Then, this past January, the brakes screeched. My life came to a complete halt, faster than P. Diddy’s career.

Self-care has become the go-to remedy for life’s chaos—but is it truly the path to well-being, or has it been hijacked into a cycle of indulgence and self-obsession? In this episode, I explore the billion-dollar self-care industry, its surprising history, and the fine line between prioritizing your needs and losing sight of others.

Without awareness, there is no choice.

You can't possibly become who you want to become if you're only exposed to a fraction of the world.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

This podcast wouldn’t exist without you—my amazing, beautiful, handsome, downright stud muffin listeners.

I’m endlessly grateful to each of you who listens, shares, rates, comments, and follows. Your support means the world to me.

This year has been transformative, pushing me to embrace storytelling and show up with greater authenticity. It’s been a journey of growth, and walking that path with you has taught me so much.

One big takeaway? Next year, I’m finally stepping it up with video content—yes, Spotify and YouTube videos. You’ll finally get to not just hear my nasally voice but also witness my giant forehead in all its glory. Exciting, right?

Love you all, you beautiful, wonderful humans.

Embrace it and go break something.

Have you ever wondered why happiness feels like a moving target—something we’re always chasing but rarely catching? Our ability to dream and plan has driven humanity’s success, but it’s also a double-edged sword. In this episode, I explore the hidden challenge of balancing ambition with contentment and the toll it takes when we’re always focused on what’s next.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? There’s something both exhilarating and humbling about reflecting on our past choices, especially the ones we didn’t make. In this episode, I dive into a personal story about my biggest regret from my twenties. It’s not about a missed opportunity or a bad decision but a recurring pattern that kept me from exploring life’s possibilities.

Ever tried building a new habit, only to find yourself giving up almost as quickly as you started? It’s a familiar struggle. Many of us chalk it up to a lack of discipline or motivation, but it turns out that habit-building may have less to do with our willpower and more to do with human nature. In this episode, I dive into the real reason behind why our habits don't stick with insights from behavioral change expert Katy Milkman.

The Who

My name's Scott, I'm 29 years young and always look for ways to excel and grow my ‘life portfolio’. At the age of 14, I started working to save up for the things I want in life. I flip items on Craigslist to invest in experiences and entrepreneurial ventures. I created a graphic design business at the age of 21 and purchased my first home at 23, which I flipped in order to purchase my second at 27. Currently I work in the Cannabis industry, which is the fastest growing in the world (no pun intended!). One thing I will never forget: always be thankful, stay humble and enjoy your journey.

Through my Podcast I look to share my journey and experiences, as I hope it will allow for a new perspective and help others achieve their goals.
