Fluor FLUOR Magazine on Contemporary Culture Culture magazines can not stay stagnant. FLUOR is the choice for a world in constant movement.

A new project
A new magazine
A new challenge
A new exhibition space
A new platform for discussion and debates
A new place for thinking, creating, writing
A place for those who like art

Society is constantly changing, and along with it the ways of doing, being and interacting. A magazine made from a creative perspective and designed to be enjoyed by cultural professionals. A great part of FLUOR

will consist of specific projects by contemporary artists, which will turn the pages of the magazine into an alternative exhibition space. FLUOR explores art from all perspectives and texts from all their possibilities. Ranging from fledgling micro-essays to recovered narrations, from texts on a specific art piece to reviews on literature, historical moments, cities or buildings. With FLUOR, we’ll learn to read again, learn to see again and we’ll be brought closer to the art of today. Because Culture is alive, current and exhilarating. FLUOR is not an innocent word:

Fluor (Fluorine) is the chemical element with atomic number 9, represented by the symbol F. It belongs to the Halogen group, and is very common in the earth’s crust. This yellow-green, toxic and very reactive gas with a "pungent" odour is used to obtain metallic fluorides which may be added to drinking water and toothpaste to prevent cavities. In its pure state, it's highly dangerous, causing severe chemical burns when in contact with skin. It must be handled with extreme care and all contact with skin and eyes must be avoided. Large-scale productions of the elemental fluorine began with the creation of the atomic bomb by the Manhattan Project.
