DJ/Music Producer from America, Manhattan currently residing in Kyushu, Japan. Odegbaro has been producing music for over 20 years, performed in a gamut of musical bands from reggae, ska to punk rock not only as a musician but also as a vocalist during which time he began writing his own original music. Prior to his coming to Japan, he performed in the renowned live houses of New York such as Wetl
ands, Continental Divides, Lime Light and the historic CBGBs. After coming to Kyushu, Japan, he performed in Drum LOGOS, Early Believers, VOODOO lounge, B1 Drumbass, and Drum Son. But for Odegbaro, having the opportunity to perform in Kyushu came with certain challenges. The musical concept that he was so familiar with in New York was still relatively new in Kyushu, and so to continue developing his musical concept, he turned to what is now called “ electronic music. ” This style didn't require the full number of musical band members that Odegbaro was so used to while he lived in New York. In addition to his new endeavor in electronic music, Odegbaro still found the time to support and produce both foreign and Japanese artists living in Kyushu. Today, under the name Tolk Records, Odegbaro constantly releases his new musical tracks that have gotten worldwide attention as far as West Africa, Nigeria.
