Hey everyone again sorry for not posting in awhile! Been busy and yesterday was myself and andross51s 15TH anniversary on June 3rd, 2024! Here is a little taste from June 1st, 2024, andross51 and myself had the pleasure of chasing! Here, with a nice surprise for us, CP heritage unit 7012, trails as a mid train DPU on this WB grainer as it passes Beaville in the Tehachapi mountains! Fun stuff to come! :)

Hey everyone sorry for not posting for awhile! Andross51 and I haven't been able to get out like we usually do! However on this April 20th, 2024 day, we got out to Barstow, CA again and man it was a FUN one! Here is a little taste this fun day!

North of Barstow on the Mojave sub, we got word this stopped stacker had some good power on it, and flew up here to get it, we weren't disappointed! Here H1 1105, one my favorite H1 dash 9s, and ex BNSF, now WFFX SD70MAC 8866 trail on this northbound stacker as it waits for a southbound to pass at North Hinkley! What a fun day this was! :)

This was definitely an end of an era for andross51 and myself! Hard to believe exactly FIVE years ago today, the last of these amazing units left CA forever to see a new life on metra!

Five years ago, on March 1st, 2019, andross51 and I got to fullerton knowing my favorite P42 198 and phase IV at the time 184 were leading 4 this night! What we did not expect was the LAST PHI 458 was trailing on this chief this night!

With this being a rather sad sight for us back then, and missing these units being common on the Surfliners, F59PHi 458 trails on this south west chief out of Fullerton, CA, ending an ERA of these units running on the Surfline!! We miss them for sure!

Man after eluding andross51 and I for almost seven years or so, felt GREAT to finally get this last unit on UPs roster on film!!

On a cold but nice winter February 8th, 2024 afternoon, myself and andross51 got word the only CNW UP unit, 6706 was down in LB! Taking a chance, we just happened to RUN into it off Alameda street and hit the jackpot!

Here, with a UP worker hanging off the back to help hook this uint up to a cut of stack cars, UP CNW unit, 6706 looks nice as it backs up at Delores in Long Beach, CA!!

Man what a way to start out 2024 railfanning for andross51 and myself! Here is a little taste of it! On a very cold, windy January 4th, 2024 afternoon, a rather RARE NS SD70ACC 1842 trails on this EB stacker as it passes through Verdomont outside of SBD! This was one BUSY day for us! Wait till the pics and video! :)

andross51 and myself would love to wish all our viewers and fans a VERY MERRY XMAS! Here is a RARE picture take over eleven years ago back in December 2012! Here, Metrolink F59PH 864 sits idly at Fullerton, CA station with a WAY BETTER Xmas train back then, as the words "Seasons Greetings" greet the nose of this unit!

Again MERRY XMAS from myself and "The Legendary Cheering Railfan" himself!

Hey everyone, hope the Holiday season is going well for everyone! Here is an image 12 YEARS AGO today, andross51 and I got that can never be repeated!

Taken on December 3rd, 2011, 12 years ago, Amtrak was celebrating its 40th anniversary and ran this special train around their system to commemorate 40 years! andross51 and I didn't turn down this opportunity!

With the weather being nice this December day, Amtrak's 40th anniversary train, with ex F40PH cabbage 406 (now 90406 stored in NY), and Phase 3 heritage 822, rest in San Diego, CAs ATSF depot with their museum train on display!

This is a scene that can NEVER be repeated!

Hey everyone, again sorry for the lack of posts on this page! However, andross51 and I have had a few GOODIES while out railfanning! I will leave this image shot on November 5th, 2023, CSX Dash 9 9041, one unit we saw awhile back in Van Nuys, CA and CSX 346 trail on this WB stacker through Ontario Station!

We have two other days we shot fun videos! Wait till you guys see the action andross51 and I got!

After almost a month of not filming, it felt nice to get trackside again! Here is a little taste myself and andross51's recent outing! On nice warm October 18th, 2023, myself, andross51 and a couple of our good railfanning friends went down to LB to do a bit of railfanning! Nothing like this loco showing up!

At CP thenard in Long Beach, CA, Pacific Harbor Line engine #65, pulls this cut of stack cars up to this location before shoving them WB back towards Terminal Island! PHL is probably one of me and andross51s favorite short line RRs!

Hey everyone, again sorry for not posting for awhile on this page! Been busy with stuff in myself and andross51 also in our lives! However on this warm September day, we definitely had a bit of a ATSF filled day!

On a nice warm September 28th, 2023 evening, andross51 and I decided to hit Barstow, CA for the first time in seven months to railfan! Unfortunately the Needles Sub was rather slow this day, but this CATCH sure made up for it! A little taste of what we filmed!

Here, on this giant mountain overlooking Barstow's classification bowl, ex ATSF Dash 9-44CW 692, STILL in ATSF paint, rests in Barstow's yard while SD40-2 1888 (off camera) and SLUG unit #70 comes out in front of 692, switching cars around! Not often you see THIS that often in todays today and age! :)

Hey everyone sorry for not posting for awhile but I figure this little fun catch andross51 and I had recenlty was fun! On a very nice August 17th, 2023 night, andross51 and I got word this NS leader was leading a WB stacker into East Yard in LA! We hit the jackpot!

Here NS 4612, along with two other UP units and THREE other NS units, lead this WB domestic stacker through Montebello, CA station as it crawls west into East Yard! This was defintley a crazy day for myself and andross51!

Was fun seeing this NS heritage unit again for the first time since CHASING It from Barstow to Tehachapi in late 2016!

On a very warm July 13th, 2023 day, andross51 and I got word that the Jersey Central Lines NS heritage 1071 came into LB on an inbound manifest to Watson! This day we checked Watson Yard but couldn't find it, but knowing the power MUST have moved down into the Ports of LB assigned to an outbound train!

Driving all over the ports we FINALLY found 1071 attached to a cut of power apparently waiting to build a train to go out of LB! Here andross51 snaps this shot of NS 1071 as it rests in this intermodal yard in Long Beach, CA before heading out of the area this July afternoon!

NOTE: we are aware the f bomb is on this baretable, andross51 didn't realize it till AFTER the fact!!

Hey everyone once again sorry for the lack of posts! Both andross51 and I have been busy in our personal lives but andross51 managed to BAG this rather nice catch LATE at night!

On a very nice May 21st, 2023 early MORNING night, andross51 catches this BNSF warbonnet LEADER 717 at 1 IN THE MORNING as it leads the UCHILAC unmanned geometry train through Fullerton, CA station! He also had some other goodies this day! Wait to find out! :)

Hey everyone, again sorry andross51 and I have been inactive the past two months! Been going through a lot of personal stuff and haven't been able to get trackside! It's a long story but this recently RARE catch was something both andross51 and I got we couldn't believe it!

On a nice February 26th, 2023 morning, andross51 got word this RARE CSX Dash 8-40C was trailing on a morning D***O, and hit the jackpot! With it being a rare visitor to the surfline, CSX Dash 8-40C 9280 looks nice as it travels through the Tamarack crossing in Carlsbad, CA!

Hope starting in March andross51 and I hope to get out again!!

Hey everyone again sorry the for the lack of uploads! Andross51 and I have been going through a lot of personal stuff, let alone a week long vacation! We haven't been able to get out like we used to! However on both January 3rd, and January 8th of this year, as we traveled to and from Vegas, we managed to get some train action in Barstow, and Cajon! Enjoy this action!

Hey everyone sorry for the lack of posts recently! I wasn't feeling the best but andross51 and I managed to do a tiny bit of railfanning as we rolled into December! However here is a nice shot andross51 managed to get!

On a nice December 10th, 2022 afternoon, andross51 nailed this shot of CSX 776 and UP 6840 lead this WB stacker passed Pepper Ave at WC yard in Colton, CA!

Hey everyone sorry for not posting anything for awhile! Been busy with personal stuff and haven't had the chance to get trackside! However on this day, andross51 and I had a RARE passing by!!

On a very nice November 10, 2022 late afternoon, andross51 and I got word there were TWO RARE LEADERS bound for LB and man I hit the jackpot with this shot!

Here as KCS grey ghost 4533, KCS 4090 and NS 9437 (not pictured) wait here at CP alemeda tied down to take this manifest into the ports, a VERY RARE CN SD75I 5791 comes right by with this short WB stacker as it comes into Long Beach, CA!

This is what I call a RARE PASSING BY! :)

Not often you see one of these units in the LA basin! andross51 did a bit of good railfanning recently and managed to catch this rarity!

On an overcast and stormy October 15th, 2022 evening, andross51 got word this CSX unit was trailing on a WB stacker but ended up with a red signal out at Esperanza! Traveling out there, he nails this shot of CSX SD70MAC 4547 as it waits stopped here at Yorba Linda, CA before heading into LA!

It was a fun TWO DAYS enjoying this amazing 4-8-4 again! On a nice September 25th, 2022 evening, as the sun was setting to the west, Santa Fe 3751 looks RIGHT at home as it returns from Fullerton, passing West Hobart as it makes its final trek into LA! The evening light was AMAZING for this! :)
