Blood Orange Press's name comes from the founder's dad’s green thumb and the day he brought home a blood orange tree. Cutting up a blood orange for the first time and seeing the color inside was so surprising and beautiful. Blood Orange Press sees the beauty in our communities and our stories. We make books that recognize and affirm kids of color, and their power and potential in the world.
