At the start of this year, I told myself that it wasn’t going to be another year of me doing the same things with my content/pages. I made a list of goals, planned and prayed maticulously, rebranded my entire brand and spoke outloud many different things in Jesus name. One of those things being that I was going to get my gaming YouTube into the YouTube partner program, and hit 1k subscribers BY THE END OF THE YEAR.

As of midnight last night, just as the clock crossed over onto Christmas Day, WE HIT 1000 SUBSCRIBERS!! After months and months of grinding and late nights and working long weeks, by the grace of God, out of all of the days to hit our goal, we hit it on Christmas Day!! The grind surely doesn’t stop here, but I am so overflowed with gratitude and joy 😊

Now, I don’t say all of this to flex, or gloat, or show off and say “look at me.” I say all of this because if you have a dream that God has given you, and a passion to persue it, I encourage you to believe in the things He’s set you out to do, because they WILL come to pass, and there’s nothing that any one can say about it that’ll change what He’s set in motion. It might not always be easy getting there, but don’t ever doubt His plan for you! God bless you all, and I hope you’ve had a very peaceful merry Christmas.

“Just because the puzzle piece fits, that doesn’t mean that’s where it belongs”

Please excuse the mediocre drawing below. I took a quick 15 min to freehand and eyeball the image God gave to me in my head as I was meditating with Him and I didn’t use any measuring tools so the scale a bit whacky too. Also read the picture from right to left!

Just because the puzzle piece fits, that doesn’t mean that’s where it belongs. Often times in life we pray for things, we desire things and we seek things (Jobs, money, relationships, connection, success, etc.) and a lot of the times we can find and receive those things. In the image below, the prayer hands symbolize us, the globe symbolizes the world ofc, and the cross obviously Jesus, and from what we can see in the picture, it seems like the puzzle piece fits, to which some can even say it technically does. Idk how many have put a puzzle together, but sometimes you can find a piece that actually fits with another pretty snug, even though they don’t create the final picture shown on the box and aren’t supposed to go together.

As Christians, the perfect fit as shown by the box (aka the Bible) is Christ and a lot of the time we try to force the world to fit into our life and force things to go the way we envision and plan them to be when in reality that piece doesn’t create the true final picture God has intended for your life. In the picture, if we flip the puzzle piece on the left, making that connection with Christ over the world, we begin to walk in the purpose and plan He has set forth for us and we can trust that whatever pieces didn’t fit, were either out of place and needed some turning, or weren’t a part of the greater picture He is creating.

God is still piecing our life together day by day, and we can find peace in trusting in the process.
Have PEACE as God is still PIECING your puzzle together.

Howdy everyone! I just wanted to come on here and just say thank you for all the love and support through all the changes here on the page/channels. I know it was a pretty massive one for some, but it's truly been such a blessing having you all as a community of people. 😄

Thank you all so much for the love and support during these huge changes, and thanks for still rocking it with me after all these years. It's actually truly wild to say its almost been 5-6 years I've known some of you, and its truly been a blessing to be a witness to your life unfolding at times. Yo, how's it going everyone! This is kind of a long one sorry haha but I've been brainstorming up some ideas and God has placed the thought in my head that it may be time for a rebrand for the pages/channels. I know we just made the minor change to what it is now last year, but just so everyone is aware of this change too, incase you can't find me in your feed in the near future, this may be why!

As for right now and for maybe the next couple weeks it'll remain the same name it's always been, but I'm thinking that its time to turn a new leaf here and the name "Discipled" has been really sticking with me, and although you all will always be the original "HueCrew" to me, our community "name" so-to-speak would be "The Discipled" instead. My content has always been set around bringing people closer to Christ whether I'm gaming, doing devotions or making music, and "Discipled" is more on brand for that, whereas HueCrew kinda makes it all about me, and I want the attention brought to Him instead.

This might be one of the biggest changes I've ever made for my content, as it's changing the identity almost entirely, but the HueCrew name will be retired and go down in the history books for all you OG's to look back on in the future, and just know y'all have been the best crew any random gamer could've asked for when I started this whole thing 4 years ago, and although things may be changing, y'all will always be the OG "HueCrew" to me.

Like I said, it'll probably be a couple weeks before I set the changes in motion, but I at least wanted to forewarn everyone since it's going to be a rather big change for some. If y'all got any questions of course feel free to ask, but other than that I appreciate y'all and stay tuned for changes soon and tune in to the YouTube this weekend for a livestream!
