i'm starting up a magazine in the same vein as maxim, but with dready girls. there will be no nudity and all photos will be tastefully and artfully done, so as to honor our beauty, not just showcase our s*x appeal. all the women featured (even those in relationships) will be proud and comfortable of their layout, and each will have a corresponding article/interview that tells us why she rocks drea
ds - how long she's had em, what they mean to her, and anything else she may want to tell us about herself. if she is an artist or writer, i'll include a photo of one of her pieces. musician, i'll include lyrics and some way to hear her music (this is all in the very beginning stages. the magazine will only have photos of women, but will have articles, interviews, musician and artist showcases of both men and women. one thing i'd like to do is have the lettering for the name of the zine on the cover be done by a different artist for each issue. obviously, this will start as a zine, but hopefully, will build into a full fledged magazine (hehe i'll be the hippie female version of larry flynt). i also hope to incorporate the idea with a bar/brewery/music venue called The Knotty Bar, "come tie one on", with knotty girls tending bar. DREADY WOMEN OF THE WORLD UNITE!
