First of all, we cannot thank our listeners enough for all of your support over these 2 years of us recording and bringing you content! We wouldn't be where we are without you all and we appreciate every single one of you!
I know it has been a LONG time since we've posted anything and we really appreciate all of your patience. Its been one heck of a year. You all probably understand the mental toll the pandemic has taken on all of us and its really proven to have been very challenging especially for Jen. It all kind of started to add up with moving, going back to work, losing my grandma, and just trying to make everything seem great on the outside. I have had many times of feeling of isolation but just continue to just push through. It was all not good for my mental health. I stopped doing what made me happy. But I am starting to breakthrough all of that mentally. I would feel very overwhelmed after work and knowing I needed to edit these episodes and I would just do ANYTHING else to distract myself from what I really should be doing. I realize all of that now and am prioritizing my mental health and not letting small, petty things get me down anymore. I also felt very embarrassed with how much I was slacking with our podcast and felt so terrible, but not ONCE did Veronica ever make me feel bad about it. She has always been there and supported me through all my challenges and I am so beyond grateful to have her in my life and my podcast host. You all need a Veronica in your life!!
