As you may know, we have a new single from Ragga Twins dropping soon, but thought it was a good time to look back at some of their early releases that helped influence and define our label.

Alongside the legendary Shut Up And Dance their early tracks such as Ragga Trip, Spliffhead and Juggling had a huge influence on label owner Shepdog as a young teen, planting a seed that would bear fruit many years later. Listening to the album Reggae Owes Me Money today, you can hear how embryonic its effect was on jungle, drum & bass, dubstep and many more genres we now consider dance music or bass music.

Every generation has spawned new fans of Ragga Twins as they continue to tour and blow fans away with new collaborations and features. Not many artists can sustain a 30+ year career without pause, but the Ragga Twins keep rolling, always creating and shifting with the times.

It's an honour to become a part of this legacy with a new album and we can't wait for you to hear it. First single "Too Much Madness" drops on 28th July so keep your eyes peeled.

We all know Ragga Twins are legends from day and the Dance Energy clip of them performing Spliffhead seems to get shared regularly (big up Normski!) but who remembers this video for Hooligan 69 from back in the day? 1991 to be precise, with Shut Up & Dance on production, this tore up the clubs and airwaves.

There's new music and a new video coming from Ragga Twins, so watch this space and give them a follow on Spotify, but for now let's take it back...all hooligans BROCK OUT!

The Drum n Bass & Jungle music community are coming together to raise money in aid of one of their own. His name is Leke Adesoye & he is known for the brand Junglist Movement & Aerosoul t shirts. The brand was established 1998, with roots in the deepest foundations of the UK jungle and hip-hop movements.

Leke suffers from sickle cell & due to this it has caused a few complications like liver failure. Recently he has discovered that he has cancer of the bone & has had to have his leg amputated.
So an all star line up of Dj’s and MC’s spearheaded by Seanie T & Rodney P, have come together with the help of the public to raise funds for Leke during this difficult time.

From Ragga Twins, Dub Pistols, Shy FX to Mickey Finn, Fabio & Grooverider, MC’ Det & Brockie and many more will be there.
Also secret guest will be making an appearance too, it’s one of the greatest line ups in history and all for a good cause.
