Today I am reviewing Batman the caped crusader. In the grim Gotham City, affluent philanthropist Bruce Wayne goes beyond his humane capabilities and transforms into an enigmatic figure, Batman; his crusade for justice brings in unexpected allies, but his actions also lead to perilous consequences. The series is different from the Batman the animated series but it good ways. The stories are original and very well written. The strength of the show is its twist on the villains and how Batman interacts with them. Also he doesn't have the best relationship with the police either. I have to say episode 5 was my favorite even tho I didn't like how it ended and how the relationship of two of the characters was left with a cliffhanger. So with that being said what I didn't like was the animation. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. I know they were going for a grittier look I assume. But the art still left a lot to be desired. The Batman "voice" wasn't that good either then eventually you get used to it. One of the things I love about this series it didn't relay on the same villains that's been used over and over again. Which brings me to my last thing I'm not happy with is the post scene of the season finale. They just couldn't leave this villain out for some reason SMH. But to their credit it had no bearing on the story. So overrated I give this series a 7 out of 10. It's only on Amazon prime video.
