Life Is A Jamboree This is my journey from a morbidly obese college student to a healthier happier young professional. When I started my journey, I was 275 pounds.

I decided to make a lifestyle change December 3, 2011 with the help of SparkPeople.com and have never looked back. As a small child, I introduced myself as Jan-Marie, and often got the question, "Did you say Jamboree?" Well no, I hadn't, but life is a celebration, so I guess it stuck with me. I lost over 100 pounds then gained some back. I'm trying to document my struggles and successes on this road to health and happiness.
