Are You Having Fun? is a collaborative publication from writer and musician Liam Cadogan and artist Zaccariah M. Broughton. The book is an engaged dialogue between the two artists’ work, showing an informed and detailed response to the interrelation between illustration and poetry.

Published in a limited edition run of 33, each book is hand-sewn with a screen-printed cover as well as a screen-printed card case featuring artwork from Zaccariah M. Broughton. New Eros Catheter out on Outsider Art on the 7th of August. Cassettes will be available on Big Cartel, stream on bandcamp.

Recorded during first month of lockdown. Three new tracks on side A and a live session constructed from discarded recordings from the same sessions on side B. Themes involve Baudelaire, Victorian aesthetics, historical catastrophes, and p***s envy.

Other tapes in the batch available on the same day include releases from Slow Murder, Playworker, and Lacrima/Pastoral Abuse.

OA051: Playworker - Dole Scum

Dole Scum marks the first release for Playworker, a new harsh noise project from Dean Lloyd Robinson (Knifedoutofexistence). No vocals, no synth, no loops, just effected contact mic and metal.

The packaging for copy of Dole Scum is made from a previously unopened letter from the good people at the DWP, who’s recycled brown paper presence is all too familiar to many down on their luck members of the (non) working class. Each unique j card has been cut, folded, stamped and numbered by hand from one of said envelopes, with an insert cut from one of the letters. 20 minutes of worthless harsh noise, wrapped in a reminder of how low you have been, and how far you can fall. Limited to 20 copies.
