Nilu Thapa is the founder of the blog BIG hair LOUD mouth, which was launched in mid 2012, and has spread her name in the fields of fashion, digital and social media, collaborating with brands as a model, stylist, creative director and digital influencer. In 2014 Nilu won the Best Blogger Styling Award at Splash Fashions held in Bangalore for which she was featured in Elle India. Nilu has also been featured in various digital publications, both National and International ( Elle India, Cosmopolitan India, North East India Magazines, Wave Magazine Nepal, Now Fashion Paris ) for her quirky-chic sense of style, high quality content, and an eye for detail. Nilu was the face of the launch of Hidesign Icon collection in September 2014 and was featured in the Amazon.in where the collection was being featured. If you’re planning a weekend trip, I must let you guys in on the recent one we just did with baby Zephyr. exceeded our expectations when it came to travelling with a baby 👶🏻 . The hospitality is top notch! They planned a trip for us to explore the private Elk Hill and though I was skeptical to bring a then 6 month old for the adventurous trip, boy I’m glad he was fussy that morning and didn’t want to leave me because our little one had an amazing time!

From having delicious snacks and chikoo coffee planned for us, the highlight was the view of Coorg you could only see from up the hill along with acres of coffee plantations, numerous lakes and coffee factories! Though we’d been to Coorg numerous times, this was a first for us, which made us think that perhaps, we really hadn’t seen Coorg properly before!

Another leisurely day at chilling around one of their restaurants Granary - enjoying a delicious meal of Pandi Curry, spending some time in the activity centre - which has a separate space for kids to enjoy themselves in, while the adults indulged in a game of Ludo, Snakes & Ladders or perhaps a round of TT as we did.

Lal & I, then decided to go for the signature 1.30 hrs spa in the Vaidyashala, which honestly was what we both really needed we felt! I get massages done regularly but this Ayurveda Spa, 🧖‍♀️ which is signature to Evolve Back Resorts, was out of this world!

I’m wearing X .pr and this was one of my fave resort wear during the trip because nothing screams vacation more than an easy, breezy, comfortable pretty outfit 😊

Just flexing our beautiful Lily Pool Bungalow room at

If a private pool with a whirlpool bath wasn’t enough, our rooms opened up to a Lily Pool where you could see the lotus buds bloom and close as the day transitioned. We woke up and slept to the sounds of nature in its entirety. Birds chirping, sounds of the raindrop, the breeze blowing the tree leaves, the little frogs singing in different pitches 😊 and unless you opened your device to access videos or sounds, you would be transported to a different world altogether… we had such a relaxing stay and the best part is that our Boy loved the experience. You could tell by how calm he was just listening to the sound of nature - no honking, no construction, just pure white noise.

And this time it feels special because I took my mini me to experience this magic with us! Zephyr’s first roadtrip!

If I need to close my eyes and think of a place that takes my breath away with its whimsical natural beauty, nothing comes to mind besides and won’t you agree with me?

When planning this trip, I wanted to create content that highlighted the beauty of this resort as I saw it, and nothing compares to the craftsman and beauty of to create a whimsical themed shoot as I wanted. Well I won’t really call it a shoot as we’ve captured the beauty of everything - location, outfit, as is.

Safe to say this is my Highlight of 2023. 2023 was a huge year for me, while I got the biggest blessing of my life, I also lost a lot. This year has been such an eye opener for me because I’d never experienced such a massive change in my life in a short time. From starting the year partying to suddenly realising I was pregnant, to changing my lifestyle drastically as my pregnancy was high risk initially, to losing friendships, to feeling so insecure with so much changes happening mentally, physically, to suddenly have your baby in your arms, to dealing with post partum issues… it’s been a roller coaster ride. But 2023 has molded me into a stronger, braver, responsible version of myself and for that I’m so grateful for 2023.

Our baby shower on 16th September, 2023 🫶🏼Our friend Radhika @raddicles who’s also both Lal and mine oldest friend, even before we started dating, and who is one of the first #TeamBHLM when I started, stepped up to host a baby shower last minute for us. Dipayan @mr.debbarma my constant support, as always stepped in to help, as he always does, in every important milestone in my life. Surrounded by gems who has made some meaningful impact in both our lives, our baby was blessed that day, amongst laughter, giggles, fun games and tasty treats! There was one thing, I wanted, that I couldn’t do myself for our baby, and that was hosting a baby shower to bring people to bless our child before birth and our family of friends here in Bangalore made it happen 🙏🏻 I’m grateful to everyone who took the time to make me feel so happy & loved that day 🧿 So here are some core memories from that day, collected from the photo galleries of everyone who came! Our shared memory 🫶🏼Now, I’m ready for you baby whenever you decide to enter earthside 🧿
