Nilu Thapa is the founder of the blog BIG hair LOUD mouth, which was launched in mid 2012, and has spread her name in the fields of fashion, digital and social media, collaborating with brands as a model, stylist, creative director and digital influencer. In 2014 Nilu won the Best Blogger Styling Award at Splash Fashions held in Bangalore for which she was featured in Elle India. Nilu has also been featured in various digital publications, both National and International ( Elle India, Cosmopolitan India, North East India Magazines, Wave Magazine Nepal, Now Fashion Paris ) for her quirky-chic sense of style, high quality content, and an eye for detail. Nilu was the face of the launch of Hidesign Icon collection in September 2014 and was featured in the Amazon.in where the collection was being featured. In June 2015, Nilu won the styling contest for the shoe label Clarks from Bangalore. In July 2015, Nilu won the , the national blogger styling contest with 60+ participants, where she won a Paid Trip to Paris and a chance to attend The Paris Fashion Week 2015. Nilu also got a two page feature spread in Elle India Magazine (August 2015 issue) as a part of her win. Nilu won the Elite Model Styling contest held in September 2015 in association with Max Fashions and was the first Indian blogger to be hosted in Elite Model Agency Paris Headquarters in the same year. Nilu was chosen to be a content partner for the IIFA June 2016 held in Madrid in association with LeEco. Nilu was chosen to be one of the Indian Ambassadors from India to visit Taiwan in October 2016 in association with Taiwan Tourism Bureau. I attended a concert after years and it had to be a concert for me! He’s so fine and sounds even better in real than how we grew up listening to his tracks! What a talented man! And I’m so glad I got to witness this legend in person all thanks to who partnered with me for this concert 🫶

How would you rate my cute fit today?

Took my vintage jacket out today because the weather is perfect here in Bangalore! Also the weather calls for Boston instead of my usual Arizona and I must admit I love how they fit and look! ( These are my first pair of Boston’s) . We had a lovely sunset view today so took a couple of photos ( maybe a tad bit more) of my OOTD, played with bunnies 🐰 with my little bunny! Swipe towards the end because it gets cuter!

03/11/2024 - Zephyr’s first birthday 🎈

Z’s birthday was very simple, after we spent the 2nd with the kids, Z’a dad , his Godmother and I stayed up until 1am blowing balloons and fixing the cake issue we had! Lucky for us, came through and delivered us a brand new delicious cake in record time!

We had heard that babies get very overstimulated during their first birthday so we only had a small get together of people Z already knew! Overall, our small get together was wholesome! Because every one that day loves him dearly, and their blessings was all baby Zephyr needed to start his mini adventure.

Mom and Dad almost twinning for Monday’s Blue look 💙🧿🪬

This time just the 3 of us went on a vacation for the first time and though doing a road trip with an infant, comes with a set of challenges, it is very exciting and adventurous too! But it’s the memories that count, and here is one such memory for our life’s journal!

This is now literally a floating breakfast 🥪 😃

On our last day at , Chef Gopal sent us a floating breakfast in our room because, during my previous visit to Evolve Back Hampi, many many years ago when the floating breakfast concept was relatively new, I’d requested the team to make one floating breakfast for me, then for my shoot purpose only, and this gesture was so thoughtful ❤️😊 I must say every second of our stay here was amazing!

This is not a promotional content btw, it’s just an expression of my love and appreciation for exceptional hospitality.

When we were planning a trip to , I immediately thought of packing and wearing my outfit for this trip!

The silhouette of my outfit somehow made me feel like it would be a perfect outfit to wander around the numerous arches of the property, and I think I’m not mistaken here! This outfit and location really do complement one another!

On our Nepali Dashain, we always wear something new, and this year, I’d been saving this dress for Dashain specifically - my first dress! I’ve loved this brand since I first saw it, and what better occasion to wear it for the first time than to celebrate your first major festival as a first time Mom 👩🏻‍🍼!

Only if Monday Blues looked like this always! 🩵

is a treat to the eyes, not just because of how magnificent the property is but also because the hospitality is by far the best we’ve experienced ever. We were whisked to our rooms in this remodelled vintage ambassador and believe me when I say, all guests wanted to experience a drive across the property in this!

I finally took out my gorgeous Aqua Banarasi saree after years, actually my first time wearing it, and I love how the warm color of the ambassador and the cool saree color contrast and complement each other! Also how better to complement the silver jari of my sari than by pairing it with this quirky sunglasses I borrowed from my friend Radhika.

Since the property is modelled as a palace, I took only Indian clothes for this trip, except maybe two pieces of western wear because I just wanted to feel and live the vibe this property exudes. And while contemplating on posting aesthetic images, as I always do, and also seeing how my son 👶🏻 is so himself and a total menace some of my photos, I couldn’t decide between aesthetics and Mom, so here is a mix of both! Hope you like them!
