I am so happy for my friend Jon Batiste and his historic night at the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs last night--he was on 🔥!

Jon co-wrote the song 'Tomorrow' for my album 'Livin' On A High Note' and it truly was an honor to work with him on his Album of the Year (!!) 'We Are' and to be part of his creative vision on that project. I'm so excited for him I just can't stop grinning!

Reviewing the latest soul music releases

Hey there!

The House That Soul Built is a music review site dedicated to critically engaging with the latest soul music recordings, concerts, and theatre productions.

We want to give a platform to and foster discussions around soul music which we feel has drifted somewhat from the mainstream. Based in London, we also want to feature budding local talent in the soul music scene.
