The insight I gained from chatting with the owners of this bug was to use the coconut hair seat cushions for my restoration. This is bc while the foam seat cushions are so much easier to do upholstery work with, the downside is there is no support on the seat which makes them very, very uncomfortable.

This is what I've been reading. I'm more of an audiobook kinda girl because I don't sit still for long AND when I read I tend to fall asleep after a page or two. Small Wonder is really well written and enjoyable. Special thanks to my dad who found it in a old box of books and set it aside for me. I am really enjoying it so far. It even has that musty old book smell!
I may have to read some bits on reels bc I think it is that interesting! 😅 Especially since so much hasn't really changed! (Electric cars aren't a new thing, btw)

Nothing like overloading your trucks power outlets in the first 30 minutes of a cross country 22 hour drive with 3 kids.😅😬😭
Overwhelmed, I panicked and messaged a friend about a possible cause for the power not working only to have mentally figured it out later once everyone around me was calm and I could think. Once I could investigate, I had it fixed in 10 minutes. I have SO much on my mind these days. So sorry and thanks to my friend who was the recipient of my overwhelmed message. 😬
Side note: With the number of devices people have, it's ridiculous that this even happened.

Watched on Good Eats today. Pate a chaux was the subject. I was always lead to believe it was really difficult to make. My chef husband pointed out that I have made perfect souffles on my first try so he was sure I could do it. Alton sure made it look easy so I gave put a go. Turned out really well. Made mini funnel cakes! I love Good Eats! I'm watching the whole series on discovery + and becoming a better cook little by little! Thank you Alton Brown! 🥰

Prepping for SEMA. Going on 4 and a half HOURS of baking these cookies in back to back batches. I premade and preportioned the dough through the week. Baking fresh today to hand out as soon as tomorrow. Just a way for me to show appreciation for my friends and companies who I have relationships with.
🤔Hmm... I should probably pack since I leave in the morning!
