Our weekly Appalachia Spark Writers Guild meets again from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. This time we meet Appalachian Oddities in Weston.

Parallel parking is available out front but requires access by stairs. Alternatively, park around back.

Average prompt time is 20 minutes.

We are a group of writers open to the public. We pride ourselves on being relaxed, informal and non-judgmental. So come write with us. You are never obligated to share the results of your prompts. All skill levels welcome! All genre interests welcome, prose or poetry. We try anywhere from 1-3 quick timed prompts per meeting.

I am available for portrait sessions beginning at $200 an hour. I don't limit the number of images we take. We will keep photographing the full hour and I deliver the edited images via a download link or a USB drive.

Our weekly Appalachia Spark Writers Guild meets again from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. This time we meet at Preplayed Media in Buckhannon, in the secret room behind the sliding shelves in the back. Come join us!

Park down the lot somewhat to prioritize customer parking for customers! Do not linger about after the meeting as the shop closes promptly at 7 p.m. If you wish to shop, pop by ahead of the meeting to browse.

Our weekly Appalachia Spark Writers Guild meets again from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. This time we meet in room 205 at the Annie Merner Pfeiffer Library (West Virginia Wesleyan College library).

The meeting room is on the second floor. If you need help finding us, stop at the lobby and ask for directions to room 205. It's right off the elevator. There is an entrance at the front and back of the library.
