Alright, question time for other selling artists. I have read a few instances in my selling support groups where its so hot product is being damaged. Has anyone experienced this lately, or previously? I've heard reports of candles melting in boxes, glass shattering, or glue coming undone. I seriously do not need one of these crystals coming off and banging around in these glass containers! I know it can reach some pretty high temps in the back of delivery trucks/vans. It is making me uncomfortable to continue selling on my website and shipping. In person events I have no problem with. Would you stop selling online until the hot season is over? Has anyone else heard of these types of things happening? I appreciate yall's feedback 🥰

I dont share too much personal stuff on my business page, but I would be remiss if I didnt say something. A week ago our foster daughter Shae passed from stage 4 cardiac sarcoma. She was 29. We had her off and on for many years. I got to see her graduate high school, go to college, get married, and have 2 beautiful children. I got to love her through all the ups and downs. I wish you could have known her! So full of life & fun, where everythings an adventure.

We are heartbroken. She meant a great deal to our family. We made an emergency trip back to Ohio to see her a few days before she passed. I got to hear 'Love you Mom' one last time from her. My heart holds all our memories together super close right now. My heart sits with her husband and two babies too. A very bright light has left. Hail the Traveler! May your journey across the stars be met with peace, Shae.

Vending this past weekend was very tough. I just put on a brave face. I have not felt like creating. I have no new content. My craft room is a mess. Life is chaotic in there. I dont have the motivation to clean it. My goal is to sit down in there this weekend with my pen, The Office, and find peace. And I have to somehow convince myself shes really gone.

A little sappy moment. Got my new banner today!! There is just a feeling, about you starting something from scratch and building it along the way. Accomplishment. I never thought I would see myself selling art, or having my own art room for that matter. I never thought people would care about something I created.

My husband and I raised 5 beautiful humans, and some of their friends along the way. We never had money to dedicate to art supplies for me. I surely didnt have the time or energy. Man, things sure have changed from 2018 when I started out as a clay artist on a wooden tv stand. Our babies are all grown into women and men. They are kicking ass as humans. We couldnt be prouder. Thats accomplishment too. And they are proud of their Momma. I put myself out there. That is a special type of vulnerability. All of us artist do that and conquer self doubt along the way. Im proud of you!

I love what I am doing now! So much better than the clay. I love crystals, cottagecore, moss, taxidermy, gothic, and oddities. I try to bring them together in my art. I make things I would want to keep. Its so rewarding. I may not be able to dedicate full time to it, and thats ok. I still enjoy the time I do get to have in my craft room. I enjoy the shows and events.

This year I am pushing myself to do more in person events. I am super excited to show off my art. And people look for me at events! Imagine that! Someone remembers you, your art, the way you were nice, and grateful to them. Thanks for always seeking me out and remembering me 🥹 I cant wait to meet more people and have those little chats at my booth. It is special to me and I appreciate it. I love my online followers. Cant believe people like my stuff enough to follow me lol I love that you chose me. You could have scrolled by but you didnt. I appreciate you and all your interactions with me. You are awesome!

I also love and appreciate the oddities community and other artists I follow here and on Facebook. I love your art! I try to interact with as many as time allows. Keep doing the damn thing! I will be here cheering you on! Thanks for following me back. And thanks for reading!

Heyyy! I just been puttering around. I'm awful at social media. I'm trying to juggle a lot of different things at once. I do have a muggle office job at the Ministry that occupies Monday-Friday 8am to roughly 7pm. I try to fit in other things around it.

I have a few things on my craft desk started. I also just ordered a bunch of butterflies. I will hopefully have them ready by next week. I have a virtual event coming up end of next week in the Fairy Witch Cottagecore Vibes Facebook group. I am an approved vendor for April.

Anyways, this is just a post to say I'm still lurking around 🙋‍♀️

I DID NOT DO THIS.

Etsy has suspended my account because I tried to change my address. While I was getting my tax papers, I noticed it was still my Ohio address. I tried to change it to my South Carolina one where I live now. They have put my shop in vacation mode indefinitely and I had to go through an hour of face scanning, uploading EIN papers for review, my drivers license. I had to open 2 tickets with ID. me. Its all under review. I have no idea when I will get my shop back. I am heartbroken. Ive worked on my shop since 2018.

My husband says its time to get my own website now. Thankfully I have no open orders. I just shipped out this morning.

Tomorrow my husband and I will be heading the 2.5 hours over to Charlotte to go to the expo!! I disappeared for awhile but it was for a good cause. I got chickens on Saturday!! 😁 I've been building a chicken run on my lunch breaks and after work until dark for the past 2 weeks. I'm almost finished with the run off to the side of their enclosure that houses the coop.

I named my coop Cluckingham Palace and my chickens after my favorite Queen and Princesses. I have Queen Victoria, Princess Diana, Princess (Sarah) 'Fergie', and Princess Anastasia. They are 4 months old and will be laying eggs soon. I am so excited to be a Chicken Momma! My husband says he can't wait for 100 years to pass so he can see how long it took for these chickens to finally payoff with free eggs 🤣
