If the Paris Olympics has inspired you to take up a new sport, a new equipment lending service could be just the thing.

The Lending Library, run by Torfaen Libraries in partnership with Torfaen Council’s Sports Development team, aims to promote physical activity by providing easy access to sports equipment for residents of all ages.

The lending library works like borrowing books; you will just need your library card or, if you don't have one, you can sign up to join your local library for free on the day.

We are open every day 10am until 7pm.
Our course is dog friendly we just ask that they are kept on a lead and we now have water bowls for them to have a drink next to our kiosk.

🦋 Clearwings in our park 🦋

Named after their glass-like wings, Clearwing Moths are day-flying moths. This year, the Clearwing Moth Project have recorded several species in and around our National Park including Lunar Hornet Moths, Yellow-legged Clearwings, Currant Clearwings, White-barred Clearwings and Red-tipped Clearwings 🐛

Funded by Brecon Beacons Nature Recovery, this project provides vital data to Biodiversity Information Service for Powys & BBNP, enhancing our understanding of this important Moth.
