The intent is to gather news from sources around the world to share and shine a light on the work that women are doing. It's a counterbalance to news that is heavily focused on the accomplishments and opinions of men. It's time to shine a light on women and the feminist movement in particular so that our efforts come out of the shadows. Submissions are welcome and encouraged, but please submit new
s items from reliable sources only! Blog posts on women (including historical figures) and feminism that are thoughtful and well written are also welcome. News analysis and opinions from women are especially encouraged! News stories about men who are supporting feminist progress are also welcome! A companion blog site is currently under construction which will organize content by a variety of categories, and send out a weekly email newsletter to summarize the featured posts of the week.
