KBVR is Oregon State University's student-run radio and television stations. KBVR-FM broadcasts at 88.7 FM and streams online at kbvr.com/listen. Our Legal ID is KBVR Corvallis. Our mission is to provide an alternative source of music and information to the community while giving students the unique opportunity to experience the production of media. KBVR originated in 1967 with 10 Watts of effective power and a listening radius of four-to-five miles, and only broadcast one hour each weekday. Now, we have 340 Watts of effective power and a listening radius of 40 miles with a 24-hour broadcast day. We play shows of all varieties and broadcast sports, news, and talk shows.
