5/23/2020. There’s this thing that happens to me after I chase my ass off only to bust. I become laser focused and determined to get anything that day. Or night. After driving 10 hours to Nebraska for the ultimate bust I drove west for about three hours to capture this bolt show in Sedgwick, CO. Rarely are you adequately rewarded but at least on this night I was. One of the timelapses in “Transient 3” with like 30 bolts was from this night.

Filmed in July 2020 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, AK. during a F-22 "Raptor" demonstration by pilot Maj. Joshua "Cabo" Gunderson. All footage was shot on the Phantom Flex4K at 1000FPS out of the open door of a UH-60 "Black Hawk" helicopter hovering at about 3000 feet.
