HONK HONK

It’s Honk time! Simply bc I have ran out of photos to post and I haven’t gotten into cosplay since like Närcon 😭 I simply just haven’t had the time but hopefully I’ll be able to get back into it soon!

I’ll be at Megacon Farnborough in October so that’ll be cosplay time! If it’s finished I’ll be cosplaying a human version of TyoNen (gotta keep up my obscure kpop mascot cosplays) so stay tuned for that and all the 1CL kpop fun too!

JUST PEACHY

Some more Princess Peach for today’s cosplay post of choice! I’m still working through all of the photos that Joe took for me at AnimeCon this year, and they’re all really fantastic - I can’t wait to post more of them to show you all!

Speaking of Nintendo, did we all watch the direct last week? I still haven’t gotten around to watching it but I’ve seen some clips of some of the games coming out and they look really good! Still hanging on for that Professor Layton reveal trailer tho :’(

More Mira for today’s post I think! It was mentioned at work that people are getting into it and that makes me so happy to hear that even people in the mainstream think it’s such a good movie!

I still love how many aspects of actual KPop they managed to get into the film , even if I wish the ISAC scene didn’t get scrubbed in favour of the joint fansign 😭

On the topic of kpop - have you all got your requests in for the Random Play Dance that 1CL are running on the Friday? You won’t want to miss it!

PRINCESS PEACH

Long time no Peach, but she’s back! For AnimeCon this year I was in an absolute bind for what cosplays to take, but I’d recently played Mario Kart World at a friends launch party and I knew I had to bring Peach back to a convention for the first time in over three years!

As soon as I saw this outfit in the game i knew this would be the one I had to make - it’s so me! With absolutely no references to go off and two days to the con I designed and printed all the back graphics myself to best resemble Peach and hoped for the best and I think she came out great in the end!

WOLFIE

new skz album, you know what that means? Posting more skzoo cosplays ofc! I’ve had these lovely photos in the archives from MCM Birmingham last year waiting for the best time to post them and I fear that may be now - bc I love being right and Chan practically wore half of this fit at the fansign today so I basically predicted what Wolf Chan should look like 💅✨

Hoping to be able to get out to shoot Dwaekki soon before I finally begin my next Kpop creature cosplay! I fear it’s becoming my thing now and you know what I’m not mad about it I love making these designs!

HOW ITS DONE

So I finally got round to cosplaying one of the Huntrix girls from KPop Demon Hunters last weekend at a con, and if yall know me by now yall will know that it absolutely had to be Mira that I did first! She was my ultimate fave for the whole film so I cracked out her cosplay in like a half a day maybe?

I think I would prefer to do Rumi however as I just don’t feel the love for Mira’s cosplay, but I had an absolute blast making it and wearing it so I’m glad that I did it! The wig is a horror tho, it’s so heavy!!

I’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline coming so stay tuned for those, especially if you love the kpop content!

JUST DANCE 2026

So Just Dance 2026 was announced at the direct today and I’m actually so hype for it, so what better to post than a throwback JD cosplay from my fave JD game Just Dance 2023!

Million Dollar Baby remains one of my favourite Just Dance songs so I always felt it was fitting that I cosplayed her! The Counting Stars coach from 2026 looks so up my alley, so as soon as I get clearer photos of it I’ll absolutely be starting on making that as a cosplay.

Who else is looking forward to dancing with all us Just Dancers in October when it drops?

WHOS THAT IDOL?

So I’ve discovered photocard holder frames on the app I use to edit photos and it must be said that I am absolutely obsessed! If you came to our panel at animecon then you’d know we also have our own pc holder frames for 1CL too so really I’m just keeping up the branding lmao

So happy to be bringing Honk out to another con soon, as I’m hoping to be able to bring her to Närcon with me! If not, she’ll be making her way to That Anime Con in Stockport in August when I host once again!

LEVITATING

The return to the just dance cosplay era? More likely than you think! With AnimeCon on the horizon, and my cosplays not going to plan, I’ve been thinking about bringing one of my just dance girlies back for it!

And with that thought came me digging out some super old just dance cosplay photos for today’s post! These were taken all the way back at the final insomnia (not that we knew that at the time) and I wore this for the JD Community Meet Up which is always such a highlight of my year whenever it happens!

phew so I’ve not posted in a hot minute! I’ve ran through my entire archive of content and actually going out to get more has been the most daunting thing so I haven’t, but I’m trying to get back on that!

However I have managed to drag some content out of the depths of my Google drive so we’re heading all the way back to the very first ever back in 2023 for today’s post! .shots worked with me on these back then, and it was the first time I’d ever taken Wolfwood to a con so I was so happy with how they came out - it’s just taken me forever to post them!

I’ll be back at AnimeCon as a creator alongside my best friend this year - a massive thank you to the con for our passes, and we really hope to see lots of you there too!

HONOKA KOUSAKA

Me? Doing a Love Live cosplay in the year of 2025? More likely than you think apparently! It’s been actual decades since I last cosplayed from Love Live, and when I sold all my idol cosplays I never thought I would again but here we are!

I genuinely had so much fun getting to be her again, and reliving my idol days all these years later (and older lmao) - I’ve discovered over the years that as long as I enjoy what I’m cosplaying then it’s so much fun, and that was certainly the case here!
