Hope yall aren’t sick of either this specific Christmas tree or Rouge because that’s all I have at the moment! I’m hoping to get out on location and take some pictures of my Marcille cosplay before Christmas tho as I’ve realised I don’t have any, and I’m super proud of her so I’d like to get that done!

If you can tell from these captions I’ve never played sonic, you’d be so correct lmao. The only exposure I’ve had to the series is the SnapCube fan dubs, and honestly? I feel that’s all I need it’s absolutely hilarious. Maybe one day tho I’ll get round to actually playing one of the sonic video games!

HERMIT TIME

Hope yall are ready for every single post of mine from now until the end of the year to feature the NEC Christmas tree bc that’s the only place I took any photos at all at comic con this time round ☠️

I got Grian out of storage again for this con when all my other cosplays went wrong, as I just wanted a cosplay that was comfy to wear and easy to dance in since we had a ton of kpop rpds that day! Grian is always a fun one to wear, and the amount of love he received from other Hermitcraft cosplayers was so cute it made me so happy!

I might bring Bodybuilder ZombieCleo with me to MegaCon in January, as she’s such a fun wear! Only downside is I have to be green tho

ROUGE THE BAT

aaa so our sonic group at MCM Birmingham this year? Absolutely legendary if you ask me. This group was floated around for a while in our discord server and we finally decided to make it a reality for this convention and boy am I so glad we did!

Sonic was actually chaos, and the fact that we didn’t even have a sonic made it even funnier if you ask me. I actually cannot wait to get the photos we took with each other back, because bet, they’re so funny

Rouge was a fun cosplay to try too! It’s not something I would normally wear, but I did have a lot of fun even tho the shoes were a killer :(

My next con is Megacon in January, and hopefully I’ll see some of you there!

FASHION BABY

Back on my attempts (how many is this now 😭) to try and diversify my account away from cosplay full time as I branch out into other things that hold my heart more! And one of those of course is alternative clothing styles and by extension, Goth Weekend!

I sadly missed WGW in October due to MCM but these photos from May’s WGW still hold a special place in my heart! It was so hard to wear my normal alt clothes in that weather, so taking pieces away a was my only option but I think the whole fit still eats!

SKZOO TIME

It’s throwback Thursday (but on a Saturday?) today for me, so with MCM Birmingham fast approaching I thought why not throw it back all the way to last year when I finally got the chance to wear Wolf Chan after months of working on it!

Whilst I don’t have any silly kpop creature cosplays to bring for MCM this year (TyoNen is so unfinished and I don’t think I have the time to finish her 😭) the line up is still going to be super unserious in true me fashion. I think I’m most excited for the big sonic group we have on the Friday; which is coincidentally the 1CL rpd day too!!

If you love kpop and tpop and you’re at Birmingham, make sure you head over to the Creator Stage at 1:40pm on the friday for the .kpop rpd! Come and dance with us, it’ll be a ton of fun!

DWAEKKI

So it was Farnborough last weekend, and I finally got to wear Dwaekki for a con - the whole reason I made it in the first place! I was supposed to wear it to Närcon but the absolute horrendous sunburn I sustained at the Stray Kids Concert killed that plan off lmao

Dwaekki is the second of my skzoo cosplays I’ve completed, and probably my favourite so far! I’m currently also working on Seungmin’s skzoo PuppyM to match with my wonderful friend at some point!

HONK HONK

It’s Honk time! Simply bc I have ran out of photos to post and I haven’t gotten into cosplay since like Närcon 😭 I simply just haven’t had the time but hopefully I’ll be able to get back into it soon!

I’ll be at Megacon Farnborough in October so that’ll be cosplay time! If it’s finished I’ll be cosplaying a human version of TyoNen (gotta keep up my obscure kpop mascot cosplays) so stay tuned for that and all the 1CL kpop fun too!

JUST PEACHY

Some more Princess Peach for today’s cosplay post of choice! I’m still working through all of the photos that Joe took for me at AnimeCon this year, and they’re all really fantastic - I can’t wait to post more of them to show you all!

Speaking of Nintendo, did we all watch the direct last week? I still haven’t gotten around to watching it but I’ve seen some clips of some of the games coming out and they look really good! Still hanging on for that Professor Layton reveal trailer tho :’(

More Mira for today’s post I think! It was mentioned at work that people are getting into it and that makes me so happy to hear that even people in the mainstream think it’s such a good movie!

I still love how many aspects of actual KPop they managed to get into the film , even if I wish the ISAC scene didn’t get scrubbed in favour of the joint fansign 😭

On the topic of kpop - have you all got your requests in for the Random Play Dance that 1CL are running on the Friday? You won’t want to miss it!

PRINCESS PEACH

Long time no Peach, but she’s back! For AnimeCon this year I was in an absolute bind for what cosplays to take, but I’d recently played Mario Kart World at a friends launch party and I knew I had to bring Peach back to a convention for the first time in over three years!

As soon as I saw this outfit in the game i knew this would be the one I had to make - it’s so me! With absolutely no references to go off and two days to the con I designed and printed all the back graphics myself to best resemble Peach and hoped for the best and I think she came out great in the end!
