Yesterday I got to shear some sheep that I did last year. It feels good to know that I am improving! 😆

It has been a rough week recovering from our first weekend of sheep shearing. I was hoping to go shear off our Cotswold girls this week, but the weather and sickness kept us from it. Tomorrow we will go back out to the shearing field! Hopefully next weekend we can offer our own sheep some relief.

We made it through 5 sheep today! It was slow going but a success. Tomorrow we go back for a full day.

Getting ready to go out on our first job. Please pray for us. I honestly don't know of anything in my life that has tested me like sheep shearing. It is an honor that shepherds are trusting me with their animals. The responsibility is overwhelming. I am constantly wondering is this is really God's plan for us or if this is a selfish ambition. Today we are facing our fears and doing this. I pray that all goes well!

We are home from shearing school! We are ready to start our first flock this weekend. Nothing like hitting the ground right out of the gate.
