Honestly, I kinda miss the whole production process. There were plenty of tracks from the 80s & 90s that were always fertile ground to start sampling from, but I loved finding obscure videogame OSTS, production music libraries, & jingles to use instead.

Michael Buhler, Architect of Nightmares 🛸 (1940 - 2009)

My absolute favorite artist when it comes to UFO / alien-related literature.

I can still remember the fear & extreme paranoia when first reading up on all sorts of supposed alien encounters in elementary school. Though few images from those books are permanently etched into my mind's eye as Buhler's.

I feel his works completely nail the eerie stillness, dreamy haziness, and surreal nature of the many accounts he's depicted, rather than focusing on the more overt fear & danger like other artists.

While not exclusively illustrating UFO and alien encounters, I really like some of his other oil paintings. 'The Pink Bathroom' could totally be a Vaporwave album cover!

Why this jacket's a godsend 👇

Unlined windbreakers like these are absolutely ideal for this time of year in southeast Texas, where it’s humid as asf and raining randomly. Great for when you want to look good, stay dry, but not be overheated 👌

Without fail, my first pair of Reebok Pumps have served me well as my No.1 go-to kicks for years now. But now my Omni Zone Pumps can finally offset their daily wear n' tear with these new Twilight Zones!

The Twilight Zone silhouette has got a much sleeker and slightly taller profile than the Omni Zone variant. The tabs are larger than my Omni's and can be found painted in greater detail/color on various colorways. I also LOVE the tongue tag design!! (Definitely finding out the font used for my own use)

I've been scrolling through the absolute depths of online marketplaces in search of this model, though this particular colorway was in the 'Would be nice to have, but okay with never owning them either' wishlist category. So, when they popped up on my radar for only $50, I just knew there'd never be another time for me to find some in my size for dirt cheap.

The price tag is reflected in their condition though, as there's some scuffing I haven't gotten around to patching up yet and the heel buttons are missing. (Which weren't in any way connected to the pump system, thankfully.)

Even with those imperfections, the price was definitely worth having this model on hand to let me see how it fit, looks, and feels on foot while I continue hunting for the much more wanted 'White/Neon-Yellow' colorway in my size 👌 (Last Pic, Center)

Some family members and I took another day trip to this bbq joint that’s been open for well over 100+ years. The links alone always makes up for the 3 hour drive, especially when you’re folded up like a mf lawn chair in the backseat lol

…losing +10lbs 💅✨

In all seriousness though, I'd say I'm feeling about 95% better now since I first caught 🦠🦠🦠. That first night hit me like a truck!! My body was just aching all over, I had a fever, cold sweats, and a killer headache to top it all off. Though by the next day, I was feeling more or less like I am now. Aside from some annoying asf nasal congestion that's been limiting my sense of taste/smell, I’m feeling infinitely better.

Real happy with how these photos turned out, as I’ve been meaning to show off this 80s era button-down I got my hands on awhile back while thrifting.

So my little brother finally got around to sorting through this literal stockpile of comic books he got from years ago and found this 2nd half of a Blade Runner adaptation.

Aside from that neat find, the entire collection is pretty crazy to flip through. Like, one after another, it’s all the heavyweights everyone knows about in the marvel universe today.

I told my little brother it’d be wise to cough up the CGC membership fee to get them quality graded, since there’s just so many and neither one of us are 100% sure how much they’re worth. Even if it’s not much, him unintentionally undervaluing them could start to add up to some serious money missed out on, simply due to the sheer number in his possession imo
