There has been a lot going on in the Texas Panhandle the last few days. As the wife of one of the firefighters who was fighting the fires and a resident of one of the towns affected it has been a crazy time.
Today I took a few minutes while we went to check on our horses and I sat down in the grass and reflected on all that has happened, and while doing so I captured these photos.

I will forever be thankful for the fire family that we are a part of, and that part of that family gives me the opportunity to photograph their livestock.
