“Rock-In The Cradle Show” was created to expose the youth in the Colorado music scene. Co-hosts Jay and Josh Rock are from the local pop-punk band Syke 96 who has been around… not in a dirty way… or is it? They have played at various venues such the Gothic Theatre, the Roxy Theatre, the Dickens Opera House, and Red Rocks… Ok that last one was a lie… I saw you get excited though. Basically the show
is one hour of Jay and Josh Rock sharing their immature humor with local bands and you. The show airs every Thursday night from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Jay and Josh Rock played their first concert when Josh was only 11 years old in 5th grade, so they know how hard it is to try to move up in the music scene at such a young age. Because they have been through it they know how great it is for bands to get their chance to expose themselves and their music. “Rock-In The Cradle Show” is the perfect chance to expose those young Colorado bands! Tune in, listen, laugh and rock out! Jay Rock (Co-Host of “Rock-In The Cradle Show”) is 18 years old and enjoys long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain… when he is not doing that he is the drummer and one of the singers in the pop-punk band, Syke 96! Jay is going to be a freshmen at Harvard… hahahaha yeah that’s not happening, he goes to UCD in the music program. Jay started playing music in 5th grade when he signed up to play the viola in the school orchestra. He played through 8th grade then he decided to drop classical music and become an immature punk-rocker! When Josh Rock, (his brother) and best friend, Ryan Teater came to him saying that they wanted to start a band his life was changed forever!!! Jay started playing the drums in 2008, when the band started, and has been playing ever since. Not only does he rock out on stage with Syke 96 but now he rocks out in the studio with his bro and local bands and makes a fool out of himself for the enjoyment of others. Josh Rock (Sexier Co-Host of “Rock-In The Cradle Show”) is 15.83 years old. This young cat enjoys doing stunts with his friends and watching the T.V show “My Name Is Earl.” Josh is a semi professional racecar driver, a self taught tattoo artist, and guitarist and vocalist of Syke 96. Most of what you just read is a lie. Josh recently graduated from the 7th grade… third times a charm, hahahaha there I go lying again he is going to be a sophomore at Ralston Valley, but we aren’t trying to promote school here so lets talk about cool stuff. Josh rocks out with his fellow band mate Ryan and his brother Jay on stage with his band Syke 96! It all started when Josh was a little boy; he scampered off into a wooded glen, from where stumbled upon a majestic cavern where he saw a sign… a sign to start a band! Ok… that was a lie too but seriously Josh started a band with his friend Ryan Teater. Ryan and Josh decided that they needed a drummer in the band. So then they turned to Josh’s brother Jay. Jay agreed to join the band and they have been happily rocking out for four years now.
