HISTORY FRIDAY! Some of you may remember the Lost Tribe Media offices downtown Akron. We operated out of a beautiful rehabbed building that was built in the 1830s and had been the home of Akron's first neighborhood drug store. Or perhaps you go way back with LTM before that when the offices were in the 1901 Fire Station #3 near St. Vincent-St. Mary (we were disappointed that they removed the fire poles years ago). Now that we are Amp Strategy, our tour of historical architecture continues with the Amp offices housed in the 1915 ACME #7 grocery store in Akron's West Hill community. A neighborhood where many of the Amp team members make their homes today.

GREATER AKRON MARKETING AGENCIES JOIN TOGETHER - Teams from Focal Point Marketing and Lost Tribe Media join Amp Strategy

Akron, OH (July 19, 2022) — Today, two divisions of Focal Point Marketing, including the social marketing teams and the media productions team of Lost Tribe Media, a division of Focal Point, have announced they are joining together under the Amp Strategy, LLC Amp Strategy brand to form Summit County’s largest female-owned communications and marketing firm.

Based in Akron, Amp Strategy works with diverse clients, from local businesses and regional nonprofits to large manufacturers and national foundations. Through marketing strategy, creative content, media relations, and communication services, the team helps to amplify the voices of organizations and brands.

“Amp and Focal Point worked together on a mutual client’s project, and in the first meeting alone, the energy and mission alignment our teams shared was incredible,” states Kat Allen, managing partner of Amp Strategy. “Within minutes after the first meeting, Lori Krohn from Focal Point called and echoed my thoughts. We knew we had something special with the teams together—and started to talk through a system to work together more frequently.”

The Focal Point team includes top regional talent in social media and digital marketing, along with deep expertise in video, media, and events production from the Lost Tribe Media division.

Exciting things happened at the North American headquarters of Continental ContiTech this past week. It has been two "pandemic" years almost to the day since the Lost Tribe Media team was on-site to produce a live streaming Town Hall for Continental personnel across the world. It was great to be back! More photos to come but we thought we would share this image of LTM's Chris Smith and ContiTech Communications Manager Anthony DiGiacobbe during rehearsal planning. We have been producing virtual multi-media Continental events with their senior global leadership team for almost 10 years and that gave us a head start in understanding how to incorporate virtual and hybrid platforms into any company's or organization's communications plan.
