Born in Alaska, Tele and her sweetheart Joel spend their summers on the F/V Nerka trolling for salmon on the outer coast of Lingit Aani, Southeast Alaska. October through April, she resides in the rich farmland of Washington’s Skagit Valley, selling their catch, sharing Nerka Sea Frozen Salmon’s salmon love, and writing.

Tele's book What Water Holds was published May 2023 from Empty Bowl Press.

W***y is an award-winning novelist from the Pacific Northwest whose novels include Lean on Pete and The Night Always Comes. His forthcoming book, The Horse will be out this summer from HarperCollins.
