In terms of the Situationists Dérive means drifting through space while brushing aside the usual motives that determine the ways one takes. Of course, it would be contradictory to call a label that name and to pursue just one musical path. Our taste of music indeed limits a little bit the range of ways we could drive in. But within that broad framework of music we feel free to drift.
