Patio Films 電影手藝工作室 Patio Films is a creative platform in providing professional services such as creativity planning, shooting production, artist management and book publishing.

It is located in the heart of Malacca, a southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Straits of Malacca. The city has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Patio Films plays a substantial role in contributing to the local community. It had brought the local culture to the worldwide audience through making local films in the community. Patio Films exchanges its creative in

sight with the local community through programming a series of public screening of world cinema once a month since January 2014. This is aimed to raise awareness among the community in appreciating cinema from a broader perspective. The films and books collection of Patio Films are opened to the community. It runs an ‘ free adoption’ project since January 2015 whereby the public are welcome to adopt the books and films collection for free.
