The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse offers English 320: Literary Journal Production/Publication. The class assembles and publishes Steam Ticket, a literary journal of quality writing. From hundreds of submissions, students collaborate to select poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork they believe to have redeeming literary merit. Students assume roles as editors and readers, and the pr

ocess is overseen (but not controlled) by a professor who has experience in creative writing and publishing.

Here we go. Tuesday night, 5-7 p.m. at Pump House Regional Arts Center, (119 King St.), come celebrate the release of Steam Ticket Vol. 28; come hear students read original creative works, come avail yourselves of free food and drink; come join our creative community and the arrival of Semester's End. Y'all come.
