RADIO TAIFFA proyecto Radiofonico que pretende brincar las barreras geopoliticas para tener la oportunidad de conocer y apreciar las culturas de otras latitudes a traves de su musica. Difundimos varios estilos musicales que nos permiten conocer y apreciar culturas antiguas como modernas en occidente como en el oriente planetario. En nuestra fonoteca podran encontrar musicas que van desde el rock,

jazz, blues, tango, fado, flamenco, celta, new age hasta ensambles de musica antigua y de camara, contando con el apoyo de distinos sellos discograficos, productores independientes y los propios artistas. RADIO TAIFFA es una inciativa de Ponxo Taifa, fundador y director de la misma, "el proyecto era solamente difundir la musica que me gustaba y que las radios comerciales jamas tocarian", asi este proyecto ha crecido hasta formar parte del gusto de mucha gente en el pais y otras ciudades del mundo. RADIO TAIFFA también promueve la cultura local que tratamos de cubrirlos periódicamente hasta donde nos es posible. RADIO TAIFFA cuenta con programacion en vivo no solamente programas producidos por nosotros mismos si no tambien contamos con colaboraciones desde otras ciudades del mundo. Formamos parte del panel de criticos en Transglobal World Music Chart desde enero del 2016. Lo cual detono nuestro crecimiento profesional.

We play various musical styles that allow us to know and appreciate ancient cultures and modern from west to east and north to south . In our sound library will be able to find music from rock, jazz, blues, tango, fado, flamenco, Celtic, new age until ancient music ensembles and chamber. We have the support of many Record Labels, independent producers and the artists themselves . RADIO TAIFFA is an initiative of Ponxo Taifa, founder and director of the same, "the project was only spread the music that I liked and that commercial radio never would play", so this project has grown to be part of the taste of many people in the country and other world cities. RADIO TAIFFA also promotes local culture and try to cover them journalistically far as we can. RADIO TAIFFA live programming has not only programs produced by ourselves we also have collaborations from other cities in the world. We are part of the panel of critics in Transglobal World Music Chart, since January 2016. Which detonated our professional growth.

It is with great sadness we announce that on February 9th, Chick Corea passed away at the age of 79, from a rare form of cancer which was only discovered very recently.

Throughout his life and career, Chick relished in the freedom and the fun to be had in creating something new, and in playing the games that artists do.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, and a great mentor and friend to so many. Through his body of work and the decades he spent touring the world, he touched and inspired the lives of millions.

Though he would be the first to say that his music said more than words ever could, he nevertheless had this message for all those he knew and loved, and for all those who loved him:

“I want to thank all of those along my journey who have helped keep the music fires burning bright. It is my hope that those who have an inkling to play, write, perform or otherwise, do so. If not for yourself then for the rest of us. It’s not only that the world needs more artists, it’s also just a lot of fun.

“And to my amazing musician friends who have been like family to me as long as I’ve known you: It has been a blessing and an honor learning from and playing with all of you. My mission has always been to bring the joy of creating anywhere I could, and to have done so with all the artists that I admire so dearly—this has been the richness of my life.”

Chick’s family will of course appreciate their privacy during this difficult time of loss.
