Public Order Public Safety Training
Around 30 Royal Gibraltar Police officers have today completed a two-day Public Order refresher course at the Buffadero Training Centre.
During the intensive training, officers donned full protective and fire-resistant gear for scenarios that simulated real life incidents of violent public disorder.

Original story: Due to a fire in the area of Devil's Gap, the RGP are asking the public to avoid the area.

Gibraltarian GP Dr Karl Alvarez has just broken the World Record for the longest time performing alternate waves with battle ropes.
Karl is undertaking the attempt in the Europa Point Sports Complex. He started the challenge at 11am and is, at the time of posting, still working away at the ropes, over three hours later.

Gibraltarian GP Dr Karl Alvarez is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest time performing alternate waves with battle ropes.
Karl is undertaking the attempt in the Europa Point Sports Complex. He started the challenge after 11am.
The event is being filmed in its entirely and the footage will be submitted as evidence to the Guinness World Record team for verification.
The current record is 3 hours and 3 minutes by Bill Lohmeyer (USA), in Mechanicsville, Virginia, USA, on 4 December 2022.
