BURJ is a union of Radio journalists.The main aim of the BURJ is to provide a platform to all those radio journalist who are working in volatile regions and are facing problems of safety and security. Established with an aim to assist and unite radio journalists working in volatile regions BURJ has a network of journalists in Pakistan and Afghanistan and is planning to extend its network to other

countries as well.During the past a handsome number of radio journalists either have been killed or being threatened.In such situation where groups and influencing factors want to mould the journalists accordance to their need and demands,the journalist need to be strengthen and hence BURJ provides the journalists with a platform where they can formulate strategies to counter such situations.Until and unless a journalist is not secure he/she cant show impartiality,neutrality and objectivity in his/her profession.
