Why did I go into this business?

🌿First of all, I want to gain total freedom. I work as a hotel Sales Manager at the moment, and although I already have a certain degree of freedom, I want to reduce my work time as much as possible. This short life we have is meant to be fully lived. I've craved a change for so long, and the only logical next step is to go for it.

🌿Second, I seek financial security. The pandemic had a great impact on tourism and hospitality, and I experienced it firsthand. All the hotels and restaurants shut down first, and suddenly I was left without an income, afraid and uncertain of what the future would bring. I don't want to feel like that ever again. And oh boy, has the tourism industry changed.

🌿And last but not least, I want to spend quality time with my family and friends. I want to pursue my passions and dreams and fully engage in my hobbies. I want to travel to places I desire without worrying about returning to work. I want to be free as a bird.

Being a teenager in the 90's, music was a big part of my life. I visited numerous rock concerts and festivals around Europe. Through my 20's I even slept with my headphones on. The best lullaby for my overstimulated brain was drum'n'bass, can you imagine? The beats always carried me away and I fell asleep in an instant. Now in my 40's I still love music but the best sounds come from nature. 🎶
