After The Badge A Resource and Advocacy Site for Retired Police and Firemen of New Jersey

After The Badge is designed for retired New Jersey police and firemen who are currently receiving a retirement allowance under the Police & Fireman's Retirement System. Whether you still live in New Jersey, or have moved to another state or country, this website should serve as your first stop for information on matters involving the PFRS, your Health Benefits, and New Jersey cases involving fello

w public safety retirees. In all likelihood many of you currently belong to other police and firemen retirement groups and are receiving information about some of the topics and stories contained here – but many more of you may not. This website is your source of all information and issues affecting PFRS retirees and their families. Afterthebadge.com provides you, the public safety retiree, with the most current unfiltered information, straight from the source, and not altered by any former employer, union representative, or government official. We also ask you to help other retirees by contacting us with information about where they may be found - which can be done by using news stories, web links, court cases or personal contacts. This information can be forwarded to our website by clicking on the "Contact Us" icon above. Some retiree information may be posted for only 2 to 4 weeks to allow new stories and timely topics to appear. Other information may stay posted for a much longer period of time to be used by our members and to serve as constant reminders. On behalf of our Staff at "After The Badge" we welcome you and look forward to your continued support!
