Happy , ghouls and goblins! Released in 2020 and pressed on sea glass translucent vinyl, riding the wave (pun absolutely intended) of the resurgence of the glory of all that is yacht rock, released their second volume of Now That’s What I Call Yacht Rock! With artists from and to and , this is a great album for yachting, mowing, lounging, relaxing with your many leather bound books…whatever.

Happy all you cool cats and kittens! For this weeks entry, I present to you Exposed I and II! Released in 1981 by CBS as “A Cheep Peek At Today’s Provocative New Rock” (cheap indeed as I spent $1 between the two). These two album sets boast artists such as , , and many more! I have found that samplers are a great way to discover (or re-discover in this case) some great but possibly forgotten artists! Happy spinning, friends!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! For this special I present to you an album that my mom would love! These are the songs she grew up with (and in turn, her kiddos)! (The) Best of Rock N’ Roll from ERA Records (BU 4940) was released in 1978 to I’m sure ride the wave of 50s nostalgia. With artists such as Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Cascades, The Casinos and Del Shannon among others, this album is sure to cause spontaneous fits of the stroll.
