Radio also know as Immaculate Conception Radio is the official radio broadcast station of the University of the Immaculate Conception. Airing mostly POP, ALTERNATIVE, RNB, RETRO and OPM songs. " The station was given the name "IC RADIO" out of desperation! It was in 2006 when the then-fourth year Communication Arts students (including myself, if you need to know) were given the task of naming the

radio station. With only a couple of days prior to the initial airing, the students were already desperate after a full week of non-stop brainstorming produced nothing but unsuitable and even pathetic (read: baduy) names. In one casual lunchtime huddle, one student suggested, the proposition obviously coming out of desperation, that the station be simply named "IC RADIO" or "IMMACULATE CONCEPTION RADIO". The name stuck."
