SYDNEY 300 Wrap
After a major gearbox and engine rebuild put our race in jepardoy before it even started the team pulled together to get us out on track.
The car ran faultlessly during practice with no issues after the major rebuilds putting us in a good position for qualifying.
Qualifying was broken down into 3 segments Q1, Q2 and Q3. Q1 would see the 56 car grid reduced to 36 cars advancing to Q2. Q2 would take it from 36 down to the top 12. We made it through to Q3 aiming for a top 10 result. We achieved a 1:43.2 which would have us staring 10th outright and 4th in class.
The race started and straight away co driver Glenn Townsend made up multiple spots to have us running in 7th outright and 2nd in class.

Our 1st pit stop came around lap 24 where we refuelled the tank and put Aaron into the car. Returning to the track in 22 place outright Aaron would slowly bring the car back up to 3rd outright and 1st in class as well as achieving his personal best lap time of Sydney Motorsport park of a 1:43.5.
Then on lap 40 disaster struck. Smoke started to come from the engine bay and upon further inspection in the pits the acusmup oil system failed taking us out of the race.
Thankfully there was no major damage and we will be back out on track in no time at all.
