Do you have a passion for landscape photography and want to learn new skills or extend your current ones?

We are lucky enough to have extraordinary landscape artist (and ex Coast Magazine) photographer Warren Reed offering a few workshops

“Landscape photography is all about connecting with and appreciating nature - in all its beauty and intrigue. It allows you to slow down, refocus and be creative,” says Warren.

Classes are limited to six people to allow for personal attention, and courses range from beginners to serious amateurs.

After 15 years & over 50 editions of our publication, the time has come to thank you all for your overwhelming support, encouragement and inspiration. We have had the privilege of working with this beautiful community over this time. However, we feel it's time to write the final chapter of Coast Magazine.

Like many businesses, 2020/COVID proved to be a very tough time for print media. It was the first time in over 15 years that we were unable to produce an in-print magazine - but we did produce an online version (to thank all our incredible advertisers). While some businesses prospered, many are still feeling the effects of COVID as we all try to manage through the pandemic. Time constraints and financial considerations contributed to the decision for us to call it a day. All good things must come to an end - and we feel it is time. Individually, we all look forward to new careers, pursuits and personal endeavours.

We have had an amazing journey over the past 15 years & thank you for sharing that journey with us. Wishing you prosperity, health and happiness in all that you continue to do in the future. Thanking you always,

We’re normally a bit shy....but here we are! Two coast people .... the founders of coast magazine. (Read the story in the current FREE online edition www.coastmagazine.net)

Over 15 years ago, we moved to South Gippsland and started Coast Magazine on shoestring. It was created to celebrate our love of this community and its stunning landscape.

2020 came along and it was a challenging year. It was the first time in over a decade that we did not produce an in-print magazine. Coasts future was in limbo, but our small, dedicated team donated their time and talents to produce an online magazine (as thanks to our loyal advertisers and dedicated readers).

With no actual paid work, we took a giant leap of faith to create our dream space (see the link in our bio to find out more). It will be the new Coast office, plus a gallery and artist workshops. If you love Coast’s imagery, you will also be able to view some of the magazines stunning photography in the gallery. There will also be a funky cafe, a place everyone feels welcome and a place where our special community can connect.

Set to open at Easter this year, please follow/like Bearstreetinverloch to keep updated to our progress. Not long till we open and we’d love you to come and say hi! ❤️

We are so proud to present Coast Annual 2020 “best of Coast Magazine” (online only) as a sincere thankyou to our loyal readers and advertisers. It’s been a tough year for us, but it’s been wonderful to look over the past 15 years (& over 50 editions) at all the characters we have met, places, faces, those who have grown and those who have sadly passed.
