Every week The Moonshiners, Copperhead Ned (Bryn Tilly) and Captain Thunderbolt (Jason Martin), played music from a different genre; funk, disco, yacht rock, new wave, reggae, acid jazz, trip-hop, etc. On occasion the work of one particular, legendary artist, or it might be music that is connected in some fashion from song to song. The hosts offered anecdotes and amusing asides related to the music and/or artists between the short sets over the course of the two-hour show.
