how to create the screen rip transition🏄
this one is pretty easy and a fun way to transition to your next scene, i used this for the amber alert music video with @amberyourrose .
this is effectively the same thing as using a green screen but i used a black sheet of paper for this one because i knew the environment would have a lot of green. basically you just want to make sure your paper color is drastically different from the surroundings so it’s easier to mask/key out.
if you want to go the route of using a delta keyer, probably something more colorful like a strong green or blue for the paper would be a good idea to make it easier to key out.
try it and tag me if you use it!

how to use the reverse (or logo reveal) sound effect in your video🎥
sound design in my opinion is just as important, if not more important than the visual.
i like to use this sound whenever i want to viewer to pay attention to what the video is portraying and to take a second to take in the information. if you want to show the logo of a company, this is a good sound effect to use to introduce that.
if i’m using this kind of sound to lead to the conclusion of the video, i sometimes like to add a riser at the very end, especially if it’s a video for social media because then it can help the video loop.
to get the sounds, sites like mixkit or youtube can have some free stuff to use, otherwise i would suggest @artlist.io which is my go-to at this point (not sponsored)
try it and lmk what you think!
