Courtney Literary Courtney Literary specializes in Micro Publishing across a variety of genres. For this reason, Courtney Literary takes on select projects only.

In the micro publishing model adopted by Courtney Literary, costs associated with editing, graphic design and pre-production work to prepare a manuscript for a leveraged presence in the marketplace are borne by Courtney Literary. In addition, Courtney Literary's authors are provided with a co-created and co-executed sales, marketing and PR plan, with support at each step of the life of their book.

As in a traditional publishing model, the profits for Courtney Literary come as a percentage of sales on the back end. Courtney Literary is now accepting queries on original unpublished works. Preference to memoir, mystery, edgy YA, business/how-to projects, and quirky off-beat humorous projects which have been difficult to place. Query letter, synopsis, first 30 pages (please don't cut off in the middle of a scene, send a few more pages if need be). I do not do: Picture books, Childrens, Chapter books, Middle-grade. I do not offer a la carte marketing services to previously published or self-published books. Feel free to query any time of you are a previously published author with backlist rights looking to re-issue, or a previously published author who needs assistance publishing the final volumes in a series.
