It rained just for one day in Delhi and here are the horrible visuals for the country to witness. It's Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Airport Terminal-1. One that is still being constructed and a part of the half-completed terminal has been opened for passengers movement.
Atleast eight people were injured after a portion of the roof at T-1 collapsed early on Friday.

This comes on a day when the national capital has been witnessing incessant rains with the Safdarjung base station seeing 228.1 mm rainfall in the past 24 hours till 8.30 am today

Union Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu reached #DelhiAirport accident site within hours and took stock of the situation. Later he rushed to Safdarjung Hospital to visit those affected. “We are taking this incident very seriously”, the Union Minister said @RamMNK

"Due to heavy rain since early this morning, a portion of the canopy at the old Departure forecourt of Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1 collapsed around 5 am. Heavy #rains lashed #Delhi and adjoining areas of NCR on Friday morning, with the Met Department saying that a moderate to intense spell of rain is likely to continue in Delhi for the next couple of hours. Several areas of the capital were left waterlogged amid incessant showers.

As Director (Finance) & CFO, Dinesh Kumar Batra steered BEL to achieve its highest ever turnover of Rs 15,044 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 2,349 crore in FY 2021-22 and that is just one of his many notable achievements.
